Thank you for six years
A note from Tako and Jesse, the founders of Kunstsokken
Six years ago, Tako's living room was full of socks. We packed every order ourselves and went to the post office every day with bags full of parcels.
Since then, more than 60,000 people in 27 countries have ordered socks from us. Back then we would never have dared to dream of that, and it is all thanks to you.
This weekend we want to celebrate that with you. Choose 6 single pairs and pay for just 4. Take 9, and 3 of them are on us.

- 76,000+orders
- 200,000+pairs of socks
- 60,000+customers

December 2020A living room full of socks
After months of work, stress and Covid delays, our first socks arrive. Tako loses a living room and gains a sock warehouse. The first parcels go out just after Sinterklaas.
October 2021From lockdown project to company
Kunstsokken moves into an office in Delft and Tako gets his living room back. Jesse takes a gap year to help, Tako quits his studies. The first museum shops start stocking our socks.
August 2023Looking for the best makers
After quotes from 140 sock factories we find our partners: two brothers and a sister who took over their father's factory in Istanbul. Organic cotton, better quality.
When we started in 2020, we were already dreaming of one day making socks together with museums. Back then that seemed a bit crazy. Today a 2,600-year-old Egyptian sarcophagus from the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden is on our socks, and we work with Het Scheepvaartmuseum, H'ART Museum, Museum MORE, Stedelijk Museum Kampen and, most recently, the Emile Van Doren Museum.
We can still hardly believe it. We are very grateful that we get to do this, and we enjoy it every single day.
On to year seven
Without you, we would still be sitting between the boxes in that living room. Thank you for every pair you bought from us, every review and every gift our socks were part of.
Our weekend gift runs until Sunday 23:59 (Amsterdam time): choose 6 single pairs and pay for 4.
Tako and Jesse
